Tessera submitted a proposal under the action ‘Upgrade of Very Small & Small Enterprises for the Development of Their Capabilities in New Markets‘, which was approved for funding.
The action aims to strengthen very small and small enterprises in the 8 priority sectors of the EΠΑνΕΚ program:
- agri-food / food industry,
- energy,
- environment,
- information and communication technologies (ICT),
- Logistics,
- health,
- materials and construction,
- cultural industries,
in order to enhance their competitive position by investing in their technological, organizational, and commercial modernization and/or the restructuring of their operations or their products/services.
The funded project involves the design and implementation of a mobile application, supported by a web platform, aimed at the municipalities of the country with the purpose of:
- simplifying the daily processes and operations of municipal services

facilitating user-friendly submission and management of citizen requests, along with providing real-time updates on the status of these requests
- easing residents’ everyday interactions with public authorities and municipal services.
Program duration: February 11, 2016 – March 13, 2020.
The program «Upgrade of Very Small & Small Enterprises for the Development of Their Capabilities in New Markets» falls under the Priority Axis «Entrepreneurship Development with Sectoral Priorities» (PA 1 and PA 1S), specifically under Thematic Objective 3 «Improving the Competitiveness of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises», and the investment priority 3(c) «Supporting the creation and expansion of advanced capacities for the development of products and services».
The public expenditure of the program is co-financed by the Greek Government and the European Union, specifically through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
