Project Description

Our company, after participating in a relevant competition held by the Pedagogical Institute, was awarded the contract for the design and development of educational support materials for the Language subject in Greek Primary Schools. Initially, Tessera won two competitions for the packages covering Grades 1-2 and Grades 3-4, achieving the highest scores among all participants. Later, following a new call for tenders, the company was also awarded the contract for the Grades 5-6 package

Within the framework of the aforementioned projects, pedagogical interactive activities were designed in collaboration with experienced educators. Subsequently, three different educational software applications were developed, tailored to the age groups and knowledge levels of the respective grades. These are educational applications entirely developed using Flash technology, while simultaneously supported by a database to store user statistics and enable the saving of game progress.

These multimedia applications feature easy-to-use interfaces, automatic help on all screens, and printing capabilities. Additionally, selected activities include the ability for educators to update the content through a user-friendly management application developed specifically for this purpose.

Finally, our company provides educators with the ability to monitor their students’ performance through a statistics and reporting tool that draws data from the database.

These software applications are available on the website of the Pedagogical Institute.
