Tessera completed the project of developing the new website and the mobile-web members application of PASYNO Cyprus, full upgrading the organization’s image.

The solution highlighted not only the the development of the new website and the mobile application, but mainly the overall architecture of a unified digital ecosystem.
The Pancyprian Union of Nurses (PASYNO) is the main professional body representing nurses, playing a significant role in informing, supporting, and advancing its members.
PASYNO’s need was not limited to simply creating a new website, but to shaping a comprehensive digital experience. It required the integration of all services into a single unified platform, the digitization of core member processes — such as registrations, payments, and updates — as well as the ability for immediate and targeted communication with members. At the same time, adopting a mobile-first approach was essential, ensuring that services are accessible and user-friendly in users’ daily lives. All of the above had to be implemented with high security standards, scalability for future expansion, and independence from technological constraints.
Tessera designed and implemented a comprehensive digital solution, based on a unified platform that combines the organization’s public presence with a robust member management system and modern mobile applications. At the core of the solution is the new website, which serves as the main hub for information and visibility, featuring a modern, fully custom design without the use of pre-made templates. The user experience is fully responsive and optimized for all devices, while content management is dynamic, allowing for immediate updates on news, announcements, and conferences. Additionally, particular emphasis has been placed on search engine optimization and overall system performance, while a multilingual environment in Greek and English is fully supported.
Additionally, a fully functional and secure Member Portal was developed, enabling the efficient management of member data and processes. Through this portal, users can manage their profiles, digitize registration applications and handle supporting documents, as well as organize and publish updates, articles, and conferences. Furthermore, it supports online payments for membership subscriptions of nurses in the private sector.
The experience is completed with mobile applications for iOS and Android, designed as an essential tool for everyday use. Access is granted exclusively to members through secure authentication, while features include a digital membership card, real-time updates via push notifications, and easy access to announcements and important information. Additionally, each user has the ability to manage their personal profile.
The platform was implemented using modern, open technologies, aiming for optimal performance and long-term sustainability of the overall solution. WordPress CMS was selected for the development and management of the website, while the mobile applications were built using Ionic (Angular) and Capacitor, enabling simultaneous development for iOS and Android from a shared codebase. At the same time, the overall architecture was based on an open-source approach, ensuring independence from specific vendors and enhanced scalability.
This specific technological approach reduces maintenance costs, facilitates the addition of new features, and enhances interoperability between web and mobile applications. At the same time, it creates a solid foundation for the platform’s future development, ensuring its adaptability to new needs and technological advancements.
