New website for the DiLanEdu-WB project

The purpose of the project is to bring together universities and academic institutions with the aim of strengthening the digital dimension in language teaching and learning. What the new website includes

Tessera designed and developed a modern, functional, and fully English-language website, with a strong emphasis on clear content structure and easy navigation, ensuring it effectively serves an international audience and partner institutions.

More specifically, the website includes:

• A presentation of the DiLanEdu-WB project, its objectives, and its philosophy.
• Sections with information about the collaborating universities and project partners.
• News and announcements regarding activities, events, and the progress of the program.
• Access to educational and informational materials.
• A gallery featuring photographic material from meetings, events, and project activities.

Design approach

• The website was developed using WordPress (latest version).
• Breakdance Builder was used for both the design and implementation.
• Responsive functionality was ensured across mobile devices and different browsers.
• The necessary accessibility checks for people with disabilities (WCAG 2.x) were carried out using the WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tools and AChecker.
