Tessera designed the new website for the Orthopaedic and Traumatology Society of Macedonia–Thrace (OTEMATH), refreshing its online presence and making it easier for members and visitors to access information and services.
The Orthopaedic and Traumatology Society of Macedonia-Thrace (OTEMATH) is a non-profit organization established in 19980, dedicated to scientific advancement, continuing education, and collaboration among orthopaedic physicians.
The design of the new website reflects the scientific character of OTEMATH and presents, in a simple and accessible way, the rich content and activities of an association whose history dates back to 1980.
The website’s content architecture was organized in a clear and functional way, allowing visitors to quickly find the information they need.
More specifically, the website includes:
Particular emphasis was placed on the new member registration section. A single page brings together the membership categories, annual membership fees, registration form, available payment methods, and all the information needed to complete the registration process.
At the same time, the new website represents the first step towards the further digitalisation of O.T.E.MA.TH.’s services. The next phase will include the development of a mobile application and additional digital services for members.
The new website was developed in WordPress using Breakdance Builder and has been designed to work seamlessly across desktop computers, tablets, and mobile devices. As part of the development process, accessibility testing was also carried out in accordance with WCAG guidelines, using specialised evaluation tools.
With its new website, O.T.E.MA.TH. now has a modern and user-friendly information hub for its members and the wider orthopaedic community, bringing together its activities, conferences, publications, and services in one place.
