A new complex and specialized project was completed in the summer of 2024 by Tessera. The project concerned the creation of a Knowledge Management Base, an innovative web application that includes processed answers to specialized questions from users – clients of the company GNOSI – Tax & Accounting Services.
The goal of the project was to develop and make available the Knowledge Management Base to the company’s clientele GNOSI, with the aim of ensuring correct, frequent and valuable communication with its customers and partners.
The questions and answers that have already been recorded concern a wide range of issues such as accounting, taxation, labor and insurance, use of computer applications, commercial law, accounting of public bodies, general personnel employment issues (health and safety, HR) as well as corporate procedures.
At the base we ensure the security and confidentiality of personal data and do not share the names of the individuals and businesses to whom the questions and answers relate.
The responses are categorized into private, subscribed and public and we ensure that under no circumstances are critical customer information shared with third parties through the responses. The responses based on the above categorization operate as follows:
- Private questions are accessible ONLY to the person asking and no one else,
- The subscribe questions are accessible by all subscribers to the knowledge base, but they cannot see the details of the person who submitted the question or the details of the company to which the question and answer relate. Access to questions – answers that have been asked by another company is useful for any company that may be facing a similar problem, so it can see the relevant answer that will help it deal with it. The solution for one company may be useful for another.
- Finally, the few public questions and answers in the base are accessible to everyone – and to third parties – without always being able to see the details of the person who submitted the question or the details of the business to which the question and answer relate.
The Knowledge Management web application is now online and enables GNOSI’s clients to:
– Search for answers to questions regarding private and public sector accounting issues, as well as labor law issues.
– Submit their own question to GNOSI for personalized answers.
The Knowledge Management Base can be used:
– Internally, by the company’s staff to optimize processes and support internal needs, but also as a training tool for new staff.
– Online, by the company’s customers and partners, providing easy and direct access to specialized information and at the same time serving to train new partners.
– Online, in the form of a subscription service to third parties
As a guiding principle in all our projects, our priority is to ensure high levels of security, usability and performance. Our application is designed with data protection and excellent performance in mind at every level of use. To achieve these goals, we apply modern methods and tools, such as automated continuous testing processes and monitoring systems that allow for continuous optimization. In addition, we perform detailed vulnerability analyses to prevent potential risks. This multi-dimensional approach ensures that our application remains reliable and adapts effectively to the ever-evolving needs of users.
