The first online meeting (kick-off meeting) was held between the executives of the two partners of the research project “Creation of a platform for self-care of patients with hypertension and chronic cardiovascular diseases” with code T2EDK-01232.
The kick-off meeting took place on Thursday, May 6, 2021, where the general framework of the project and its individual requirements were discussed. Analyzed project stages, work units and deliverables were done. The involved parts committed themselves to the proper implementation of their obligations, so that the project is developed on time and in the best possible way.
The object of the research project is the development of a platform that will serve people with hypertension and their caregivers, in order to achieve a better management of the disease.
The purpose of the project is to facilitate the end users / patients in the recording and monitoring of data related to hypertension and also in their decision-making support. At the same time, it aims to strengthen the communication between patients and doctors and to provide an easy-to-use platform to health professionals for a comprehensive monitoring of patient data.
The partners of the research project are:
- Tessera Multimedia Company (Coordinator),
- Innovative Secure Technologies, artificial plant (spin-off), a knowledge and innovation intensive company that provides information system security services
The action “Research-Develop-Innovate” is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund under the Operational Program Competitiveness – Entrepreneurship – Innovation (NSRF 2014-2020). It is running under the Operational Programme Competitiveness Entrepreneurship and Innovation (EYDEPAPEK) and the Special Management and Implementation Authority for Research, Technological Development and Innovation Actions by the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs (MIA-RTDI).
It is implemented within the framework of the Action “RESEARCH-CREATE-INNOVATE” and is co-financed by the European Union and national resources through the E.P. “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship & Innovation (EPANEK)” (project code: T2EDK-01232)
