The asynchronous teletraining platform, which was implemented using Open eClass.

The company Tessera, in collaboration with OTS S.A., designed the synchronous and asynchronous e-learning platform for the Municipality of Pavlos Melas

The asynchronous e-learning platform, implemented with Open eClass, is aimed at students residing in the Municipality of Pavlos Melas as well as educators, with the purpose of providing a modern, secure, and reliable means of interaction and continuous communication between instructors and learners.

The e-learning system (https://e-learning.pavlosmelas.gr) offers comprehensive management of all users and easy design and organization of teletraining programs. It is characterized by functionality, user-friendliness, and compatibility with all devices (tablets, laptops, desktop computers, and mobile phones).

Indicative features of the system:

  • Support for multiple/distinct roles in the educational process
  • Management and organization of trainees
  • Management of instructors
  • Design and structuring of teletraining programs (material upload, grading, announcements, creation of workgroups, statistics, etc.)
  • Display, development and collapse of course hierarchical structure (modules, items, etc.) (course structure view)
  • Course listings, message sending, course search based on filters, and more.

At the same time, the system offers the capability for live (synchronous) teletraining (supported by the BigblueButton platform) enabling real-time audio and video communication or a virtual classroom experience using appropriate equipment (computers, cameras, microphones, speakers, headphones, high-speed networking, and video conferencing software).
