Contract signed with the NOESIS Science Center and Technology Museum

Following its participation in the International Public Tender of the Thessaloniki Science Center and Technology Museum (NOESIS), Tessera was awarded the contract for the provision of services related to the development of digital educational content and the enhancement of online services.

Within the framework of this project, our company will develop:

• 50 short animated educational films, presented in comic-style format, each depicting a self-contained educational story related to science and technology topics
• Three interactive online games, thematically aligned with NOESIS science shows, focusing on Space, Ancient Technology, and the broader fields of Physics and Chemistry.
• Three virtual interactive science labs in the fields of Optics, Electricity, and Heat, where experiment simulations will be performed.
• A new web portal for NOESIS, offering upgraded online services and featuring a content management system.
• High-quality stereoscopic images depicting objects/exhibits from the Science Center and Technology Museum.

Specifically for the development of the virtual science labs, our company will collaborate with a research team from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, consisting of faculty members, research associates, and other staff from the Programming Languages and Software Technology Laboratories of the Department of Informatics, as well as the Educational Technology and Physics Didactics Laboratory of the Department of Physics.
The project is expected to be completed in the fall of 2014.
