As part of a research project, Tessera, in collaboration with the Sports Medicine Laboratory TEFAA / ELKE AUTH, designed and developed the Cardiofit platform for monitoring patients and athletes with cardiovascular diseases. The platform includes a web application and two mobile applications, for iOS and Android.
The platform is aimed at people with heart problems who wish to exercise and play sports and aims to monitor them by recording key parameters and factors (blood pressure, oxygen saturation, meals, medications, etc.)
More specifically, the object of the project is the design and implementation of a long-term program of therapeutic exercise and evaluation, by exercise and health professionals, of the anatomical and functional adaptations of exercise in patients and athletes with cardiovascular diseases.
