A new website has been created for both young and old in anticipation of Christmas. The “Enchanted Gate”, Thessaloniki’s online Christmas village, developed on behalf of the Municipality of Pavlos Melas, aims to entertain and educate visitors with themes and creations related to the Christmas and New Year holidays.
Fairy tales and stories narrated by the beloved Karmen Rouggeri, videos featuring sweet recipes by Argiro Barbarigou , an elves’ workshop with creations, crafts and robotics projects curated by teams of educators, as well as Christmas melodies and dance-theater performances, are some of the sections visitors can find on the website. Additionally, our little friends can send a letter to Santa Claus, listen to music from the “Christmas DJ” and view all of Santa’s activities through his calendar.
More specifically, the website includes the following sections:
- Fairytales narrated by Karmen Rouggeri,
- Sweet creations in Santa’s kitchen
- Santa’s house
- Th elves’ and robotics
- Music stage
- Our post office
- The Enchanted Gate radio station
At the same time, the website features Christmas news, including traditions from various countries. It also acknowledges the contributors to the site — the artistic teams, the municipal kindergartens of the Municipality of Pavlos Melas, and other supporters.
